Generate healthier suspension environments on a small scale with CYTENA’s unique mixing technology. The C.BIRD™ is CYTENA Bioprocess Solution’s first product to use unique reciprocating mixing technology during the cell culture process. It offers an optimal suspension environment for small-scale culturing, including 96- and 24-well plates, and helps ensure the consistency of clone selection between the early and late stages of the process. It also improves viable cell density, total cell proliferation and cell viability compared to large-scale shaker flask cultures. Additionally, cell doubling time and relative protein yields are significantly improved with the C.BIRD, enabling earlier transitions to suspension culture with a higher cell growth rate in small scales and potentially providing better translation to large-scale shaker flask/bioreactor conditions for later CLD processes.
